In order for an individual to adopt a healthy behaviour, like safer driving, they need to believe there is a severe threat that is likely to occur to them, and that they have the tools to effectively reduce the threat.

We worked with TAC to update infringement notices, showing traffic offenders the real, frightening consequences of their actions—beyond just receiving another fine—should they repeat dangerous behaviour.

The notices now feature personalised, hand-written letters from people impacted by road trauma, sharing their stories. A QR code links to a video message, allowing offenders to hear directly from survivors.

To encourage meaningful change, offenders are also invited to make a personal commitment by taking a public pledge to improve their driving habits.
